（中央社記者林宏翰台北16日電）體育署今天邀集中職、棒協開會，宣布11月的世界棒球12強賽，中華隊總教練由郭泰源出任。
教育部體育署今天邀集中華職棒、中華棒協，針對年底的世界棒球12強賽與未來的大賽，舉行「「參加國際棒球重要賽事組織架構與運作模式」三方聯席會議。
體育署長何卓飛、中職會長吳志揚、棒協理事長廖正井下午4時在體育署召開記者會，並宣布中華隊總教練人選。
世界棒球12強賽是由世界棒壘總會主辦，全球排名前12名的國家參賽，今年首屆由日本與台灣共同主辦，中華隊開幕賽11月9日在台中洲際棒球場。1040616
